Mom.exe failed to initialize

The file mom.exe is a part of the driver installation package for ATI video card drivers. However, it has been observed by multiple people that this could be a spyware activity also. By the look of it, it is very difficult to understand the problem. To fix this, we first need to check for an ATI card on the computer. To do this, follow the following steps:

1. Go to Device Manager (Click on Start --> Run--> type devmgmt.msc --> Click on "OK")
2. On the Device Manager window, expand the "Display Adapter" tree

If the description there mentions ATI, then we need to update the drivers, else we need to follow the following steps to remove the spyware:

1. Download SpyBot Search & Destroy. You can go to the link by clicking here

Install this tool and run a scan to remove this message.
